Rent-a-Dent goes GREEN!
The Rent-a-Dent network are proud sponsors of the Paper4Trees program, supporting waste minimisation and tree planting through New Zealand schools.
Every booking you make through Rent-a-Dent gives you the opportunity to donate $2.00.
This hugely successful programme initiative which began in 2001 rewards native trees to schools that recycle paper and cardboard and is now used in hundreds of schools around New Zealand.
The programme is promoted by EERST, Enviromental Education for Resource Sustainability Trust.
- Every tonne of paper and cardboard recycled saves about 13.5 trees.
- EERST supplies a free 30-litre recycling bin for every room in the school.
- EESRT supplies free posters for each bin.
- EERST works with the school to find the best way to deal with their recycled paper and cardboard.
- EERST supplies a native tree, shrub or grass for every THREE wool sacks filled in a year.
- EERST organises the delivery of plants to the school.
